Rajkumar Sengupta was born in Kolkata (1979) is a noted singer-songwriter,composer,producer,guitar & multi stroke instrument player working in the industry for last 20 years.He started his journey in the year 1999 as a guitar player with a band Orient-express & began touring. He also started touring with Anjan Dutta & music folk .Then he formed 'Friends of fusion' and released 2 studio albums one from Saregama-Hmv (2010) and was nominated in Gima award and the other from Inreco (2012). He composed and released Studio albums in Bengali named 'Strange factory vol 1'. 'Lovers lane', 'Last counter' all in 2012. Simultaneously, he began composing music for films & ads & produced 4 songs for the maiden Album of Anupam Roy 'Durbine chokh rakhbo na'. As a session player and producer he was associated with films like Jio kaka, Brakefail, Rangmilanti, Ranjona aami r ashbo na, Madly bangalee,R ekti premer golpo,Chalo PaltaiChaya manush, Shah-Jahan Regency. As music composer, he scored for films like 'Chupkotha,' 'Tomar jonyo,' 'Aashare goppo'. He started working in Mumbai in 2016 & recorded for films like Race 3, Shadi meh Zaroor Aana, Mirza-Juliet, Why cheat India, Meri Nimmo, Music Teacher, Chidi-balla. He composed for short films like The Right click, The photographer, Bouma,Bappa morya, Gurez, Nilani,Ashay,Boondi ki laddu & Animation film Appu. Now again he is back to writing original songs in Bengali, English & Hindi and started producing singles collaborating with many artists.
